Dr. Marvin Carroll and fellow Tec-Masters leadership visited the Village of Promise in February of 2020. The Village of Promise is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Huntsville, Alabama. The organization was founded to address the needs of children and families in distressed, high-poverty neighborhoods with a mission to break the cycle of poverty, one family at a time, using a two generational approach.

Tec-Masters leadership had the opportunity to visit classrooms, observe programs in action, meet with teachers and Village of Promise leadership but most importantly meet the young scholars in a nurturing and supportive learning environment. The following week Bobby Bradley from the Village of Promise was able to visit Tec-Masters and share more about their wonderful program with additional Tec-Masters staff.

Tec-Masters hopes to work closer in the upcoming year with academic content and services to work together to benefit the Village of Promise while Tec-Masters gives back to our community to help the next generation of learners and families.
