HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — August 4th, 2023 — Tec-Masters, Inc. (TMI), a leading entity in the NASA and Department of Defense industries for over three decades, proudly announces the successful installation of Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus spacecraft carrying its innovative Microgravity Research for Versatile Investigations (MaRVIn) system on the International Space Station (ISS). The spacecraft, loaded with over 8,200 pounds of science experiments and cargo, including TMI’s MaRVIn, launched from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on August 1st.

Tec-Masters’ MaRVIn system is set to amplify the ISS’s role as a valuable platform for research and technology development in low Earth orbit (LEO), benefiting humanity and supporting a robust space market. MaRVIn, entirely developed by TMI, is designed to facilitate a broad spectrum of scientific and commercial investigations in the microgravity environment of the ISS.

The NG-19 mission, which marked the final flight of the current version of the Antares rocket, has further underscored NASA’s commitment to fully harness the ISS for research, science, and technology development through its currently scheduled retirement in 2030.

With the successful installment of MaRVIn on the ISS, Tec-Masters anticipates contributing significantly to microgravity research and technological advancements, marking the company’s first stride into commercial space activities.
