  SOLD Test Engineer
  Job Location: Huntsville, AL

The Advanced THAAD Driver (ATD) Program has an opening for 2 Mid-level individuals to perform as Test Engineers for the Sim-Over-Live Driver (SOLD) software rewrite effort. The SOLD is a HWIL simulation driver that interfaces with the THAAD BMDS weapon system. SOLD is being redesigned and rebuilt as the ATD.

The individuals must demonstrate 8-10 years of direct experience testing software requirements. This experience must include requirements analysis, test case design, test execution and finally analysis for requirements verification. Experience with the Rational Rhapsody tool for software engineering is highly desired.

The candidates must be proficient with Linux OS computer platforms and should have an understanding of shell programming in this environment. Knowledge of the THAAD weapon system's x-band Radar and/or Fire Control components, launcher or interceptor operations, or RCS data is a plus. Familiarity with any of the OrbExpress communications middleware package, the Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocol, Common Truth Interface (CTI) interoperability framework, and FibreXtreme data and communications interfaces are also desired. Demonstrated mathematical competency is a plus. Writing skills for purposes of documentation is also a plus.

The candidates must possess a SECRET security clearance. The work will be performed at the Software Engineering Directorate (SED), part of the US Army Aviation Missile Research, Development and Center on Redstone Arsenal.

  Mid-Level Network Operations Lead
