Studies and Analysis

Extensive Studies and Analysis activity is performed in the Modeling and Simulation arena at Cameron University in Lawton OK and in our Missile Defense Technology teams in Huntsville, AL. In addition to those efforts, Tec-Masters, Inc. Systems and Software Engineering teams perform independent assessments of technology initiatives as well as performing or participating in business process assessments, operational assessments, studies and analysis for a variety of programs and products. TMI has been performing those activities for the Government since 1992 when we performed an Attack Operations Study on communications and operations for active Fire Support response to Tactical Ballistic Missile attacks in support of the Field Artillery School and the Tactical Missile Defense Office at Redstone Arsenal.

Some examples of effort in this area include conduct of studies to characterize and identify future jamming threats for the GPS systems for the Precision Fires Rocket and Missile Systems Project Office and subsequent related studies to optimize the anti-jamming response to those threats. TMI contributes to the Communications and Fire Mission Control Working Group for the M270A1 and HIMARS Fire Control Systems. Our engineering test team routinely analyzes flight test results to detect anomalous behaviors or to characterize failure mechanisms. They also perform operational analysis of message flows, timing, and launcher/weapon responses during test. TMI’s SW team routinely analyzes software change requests/solutions for the PFRMS PO. For NLOS-LS, CMDS and LTPO Project Offices, the team is analyzing business processes to optimize the commonality and compatibility of software tools to support integrated engineering, configuration and data management efforts.
