HPO The HBCU/MI Project Office (HPO) is a non-profit incorporated entity that coordinates the efforts of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities / Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs) that provide career development training and solutions for the Future Acquisition Workforce (FAW). The HPO, through a network of HBCU/MIs and industry and government training providers, develops and delivers leadership, acquisition, research, and technology (LART) training solutions to the current and future workforce. The HPO's Collaborative Incubator Centers (HCIC) combined research and business developed by HBCU/MI rather than a proposal to perform only academic research. This concept fosters the involvement of more than one HBCU/MI in accessing and participating in government and industry contracting opportunities.
