TMI has a comprehensive Corporate ISO 9001:2000 certified Quality Management System that is used for all design, development, production, installation and servicing projects undertaken by TMI. This system has been in effect since 1999 and was approved for registration in October 2000. In keeping with Government and industry streamlining, TMI has been developing a full compliment of standards, policies and procedures to provide a robust series of best practices for our total business model that includes all our directorates and divisions. TMI’s ISO based SPP-004 Quality Manual is the cornerstone of our quality system. It is one of several that have been planned and generated, and continue to evolve. TMI recognizes that each customer’s needs and requirements must be satisfied. Often, this creates unique procedures at the project level. We have developed a layered approach to satisfy our customer requirements without hiving to change with each new contract or customer. The layered approach also gives our Program Manages the freedom to reuse, tailor and adapt any procedures as they see fit without impacting the layer above. The Quality Management Organization ensures that each job has the necessary level of planning support, appropriate standards and processes and adequate training to support the project.
